Is it possible "Big foot" and the "Yeti" just are stories of ancient wondering Caucasians lost or exploring in Asiatic lands? Amerinds wouldn't believe any human could be over 5'5 and have body hair. Maybe they called rarely seen tall and hairy men "Sasquatch" and the term "Yeti" was used by Tibetans. Over time, the stories got more fanciful.

We know already that the inverse happened. Spaniards navigating the Amazon river couldn't believe such slim and petite figures watching them from the shores, holding spears, were "men" so named the region after the mythical woman warriors.

Mutts aren't even human to begin with so anything that isn't them isn't 'human'. JFL at believing mutts. Yes bigfoot and the yetis were humans or at least humanoids.

no, its cope.

I never thought of that connection with Amazonians thanks for the fact

Interesting way to think about it ngl

Why the hell is this a cope? He's proposing a theory, which whether true or false has no benefit to his own happiness. Am I missing something?

Over for biggootcels

Ran across this history documentary that mentions the Spanish explorers in California describing the natives as "beautiful female warriors."

I wonder if this would have looked like a "half beast wild man" to the Amerinds.
