I think atheists are more happier because they no longer have to put up with shot of their parents and normies .They are no longer worrying about sin and judgement and afterlife.They enjoy every moment they have before dying .
Religious people are happier due to the psychological effects of believing so strongly that something is helping you that it actually begins to have benefits on your mental health.

But there is no guarantee that even if you are a relgious person ,you might end up in heaven of your religion.

I’ve come to realize that I feel happier as an atheist than I did during my religious phase. When I was religious, I constantly worried about eternal damnation or facing a lifeless void. Both possibilities felt equally terrifying. No matter how much I struggled or tried to live a good life, there was always the fear of being judged and sent to hell. Alternatively, the thought of striving for an afterlife only to discover I was wrong, ending up in a void, was equally distressing.
Atheism is fine, but the redditors ruined it personally. I'm agnostic.
Subjective meaning while it does exist, most people aren't so unique that they are capable of finding their own subjective meaning. We know what makes the average person's life feel meaningful, a stable job, house and wife and children. Religion enforces and promotes these ideals and promises "cosmic meaning" as in even if you suffer here there will be a reward in the next life to make it worth it. The average atheist cannot beat the reward:suffering ratio from this grand delusion in their wildest dreams. That's why religion has so much staying power despite being an absolute cope.

I personally feel more happy as an atheist tho.The while religious being happy is not true for me because I used to worry about hell and void a lot.
