I'm 5'8", nothing about that height helps you in any way, shape or form with the foids. They all want 6' + specimens, not us short subhumans.

85% of men are below 6'0". 15% are 6'0" and above.
The actual relevant statistic would be how many right swipes each height gets proportional to their percentile.
I'm pulling numbers out of my ass right now because I'm too lazy to look them up, but say that 15% of all men are 5'9" and only 2% are 6'2", it makes sense that 5'9" guys get more matches than 6'2" guys since there are a lot more of them. We all joke about Chad getting all the girls, but in reality there aren't enough tall Chads for all the ugly girls and beckies.
6'3" is very rare, 6'4" is rarer still and 6'5"+ is something like .001%, 6'8" is .00001% etc.
So if 6'2"+ guys get 20% of all the matches that would mean they're overrepresented since only 5% of men are 6'2"+ (or whatever the actual number is.)

6'0" - 6'1" is usually 5'10" IRL and females know this. It's probably the most lied about height range. Females feel safer choosing guys who claim to be 6'3"+ because it's much more likely they're at least 6'0".

I don't believe 5'8" is average at all. And actually 5'9" is the average, but even then.. I think that's bullshit. As far as I know, they don't do a yearly stat / study on the average male height in the USA (or worldwide). Most men in 1st world countries are 6' +, I 100% guarantee it. Every time I've gone out, every man is bigger and taller than me.. on average.
The word "average" would mean the probability of seeing or witnessing something would be almost all the time. If 5'9" were the average height, I'd be seeing 5'9" men walking around all the time, but I don't. On Average, I see 6'+ men. 6' is the average male height in 1st world countries.
