If you guys play any would you recommend any visual novel that you played? I would like to try them out

I forgot about pheonix wright, shits a literaly debate sim game and it's a great idea to spice up the genre. Danganronpa is a battle royale game with entertaining and fun characters. DDLC is literally just a parody of the genre.

Last one that was really amazing for me was Aiyoku no Eustia and since then haven't read anything but quick eroges every now and then. Story was great, characters were cool and ost was also great. VNs are a dying medium so you will never get those vns ever again nowadays it's either moege, nukiges, higher budget eroges or allageges made for nintendy snitch (half of the time demakes of old vns ).

Dohna Dohna was also pretty cool i wish it would have sequel with better story since they focused mostly on gameplay and interaction in between of characters while main story was pretty meh and unfinished.

I haven't read the Chaos;head even tho it's a prequel to the Chaos;child but it wasn't really that needed, mc of the first vn only appears maybe once or twice and not in real form but online JFL.

If you want something fun but short with high production value you should also read https://vndb.org/v26902 It was obviously inspired by old cartoon network cartoons and anime at same time, it's a very unique mix of both worlds would recommend.

https://vndb.org/v1306 this VN has both story and real gameplay where you control mech i haven't finished it only the first route since combat got a bit tedious after a while i should go back and finish it. It's really long took me like 19h to finish single route

I have read over 100 of them over the years and i wouldn't put DDLC in my top 50 of VNs, Danganronpa is still pretty good but not top10 material since it's light on story it's mostly reactive drama with events of previous day, they don't even try to tell a story what's going to happen with them after they go out it's pretty basic but still fun to play and read.

Not only you have normie opinions about VNs but also real games, you are nothing but a failed normie that should get laid and get off this forum right fucking now

I'm not a visual novel expert but don't start with biblically long games like Umineko. I'd recommend starting with shorter titles like Planeterian, Narcissu, Saya no Uta etc. You could learn japanese as a hobby if you want to enjoy the sea of untranslated games.
