Voldemort, Darth Vader, Kylo Ren,... As if an ugly man was necessarily unlovable and could only turn evil.

But yeah right, looks don't matter.

why do people keep saying adam driver is ugly? he looks textbook normie in looks.

I wouldn't say all, I would say most.

And when the villain is actually as good looking as the hero... guess which one the girls all fawn over.

That's why we Incels are seen as villains, thanks to Hollywood a.o.

a good observation. it just reinforces the halo effect.

and never forget all those movies, shows and stories where the villain is simply an ugly loser who has had enough of society and has turned against it.

You can turn 50 shades of grey from a romance into a horror (and Christian Grey from a protagonist to a villain) by adding 10% body fat, removing a few inches of height and making him slightly more bald at the temples.

Yes, and the rare villains that are attractive are considered as lovable antiheros and have a lot of fans

Not always the case in anime. It’s interesting to note because there was a live adaptation of Death Note for the western audience and the change in character for the guy playing as Light Yagami was striking. In the anime, he was this charismatic chad who had it all. In the western version they made him out to be this failed normie who got bullied a lot. Far from a chad in the western version. Makes you wonder.

They might be ugly, but they are still dominant. Rarely do you have manlet, framecel, voicecel villains in serious movies. I guess if the movies were real life there'd be plenty of women willing to date them. I am pretty certain a real life Darth Vader wouldnt be incel.

In Joss Whedon's shows, the hot villains (the vampire Spike, the vampire Angel) become good guys eventually.

Toby Jones is a great example, short ugly pig nosed manlet plays all the villian sidekick roles.

Quasimodo in the Hunchback of Notre Dame is the protagonist (and a cuck)

best post of the week award imo

Vader was a chad before his deformity. Also, i've noticed that when a villain is genuinely goodlooking, he is either mogged by the hero, or is bald. Also, LOL at all the people saying ER was goodlooking. Yeah, he had a nice jaw, but he had a weak chin, fishlips, and was a framecel manlet.

It's over for villaincels

Powerful post!

What about Riddick? Is he a villain, anti-hero, or just a misunderstood bad ass?

I noticed villains are either super hot or super ugly whenever they want to make some likeable antihero they choose a good looking actor samething in anime

Humans associste good looks with good personality traits and viceversa.

Gaston smirking

In animes that's even more extreme.
