This really only applies in Western countries, especially the US.
Having an ethnic last name in America is the easiest way for you to be singled out, especially during elementary and middle school. I think a lot of non white incels have similar experiences growing up. Whites could not pronounce 99% of ethnic last names correctly to save their lives, and make the already ugly sounding name even worse.
People who have last names like "Raksheet, Wang, and Abdul." are always going to be seen as ethnic even when they are not in the room.
Now a lot of people who grew up in the US will be given a White sounding first name, like Ben, John, or Kyler. But the problem though, is that the ethnic last name is still going to be there, and can't really be changed. When someone hears the name "Cayden" they will think of some random white guy, but when the last name, "Zhang" comes up, people will immediately think of a ricecel. At least Elliot Rodger never had to worry about a name problem.
Once kids realize your ethnic sounding last name you will likely be bullied and made fun of. You will always be seen as different
Some ethnic names "Lee" are okay, as it sounds good and a lot of White people have it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_E._Lee
Some eventually change their last names, in order to not be seen as shit-skin: https://www.teenvogue.com/story/chloe-bennet-changing-last-name#:~:text=However, she made headlines after, name that made them uncomfortable.”
Having an ethnic sounding name name in the West automatically tanks your SMV astronomically.
