I remember used to do these as a teen, I think I heard about them via all the Matt Furey ads and shit. I still do them now and then, but never got particularly good, probably only this good:

Brudge

basically it works the posterior chain (hamstrings, glutes, lower back) muscles. For any newbies you prob want to start w/ something simply like the version where you focus on JUST that part by keeping upper back on ground:

Lift
there's also variations where you can elevate your feet or elevate your shoulders, not sure which is harder, either way weight can be added via medicine ball or padded barbell)
Elevate
Barbell

another variation is just doing tablemakers
Tabkenajer

the actual 'hands overhead' version is pretty tricky and you'll find it pretty awkward, I think like how this guy is doing it is basically the height of my own competence

Dog

I have no idea how people work up to this shit:

UnpleasantClumsyEasternglasslizard size restricted

I'm thinking maybe I should focus more on elevated-feet pushups for base strength and start trying to wall-walk up to handstands again, having that base stability prob helps you shift more weight onto hands which seems important for this.

I do the version animated white shirt guy is doing as part of my exercises for my back pain.

I haven't tbh , never thought about it

In gym class tbh:feelsjuice: never thought it was useful outside of working your abdomen

I don't think it actually works the rectus abdominis more like the erector spinae
