Anyone else surgerymaxxing?

I am saving up for a surgery called sliding genioplasty, cost varies a lot but my goal is to hit £5000. I think I would need braces for that too because my teeth are fucked in the first place. Having a hope makes you less miserable, is there any reason you don't have that hope? I can understand sub2.5 guys who would need a lot of thousands to get surgeries in the first place, but 3+ guys, what's your excuse?

I thought acne scars were unfixable, at least that's what I've read from acne.org when I had severe acne and that was 2 years ago. Are you confusing with acne marks? If what you say is true then that's fucking amazing, to be able to fix the scars. I myself have them and it fucking sucks. What triggers me the most are not scars but my wrinkles and one weird shit spot(not rly a spot) on my forehead.. My skin texture is completely ruined with benzoyl peroxide. Skinmaxxing is in my future plans although chin is my number one priority.

Nope they're definitely fixable. Just gotta find a good doctor (this part is very important) and do the proper protocol. Message beautifulambition on acne.org with pics of your scars and he'll get back to you soon with a good plan. A lot of docs just want to push laser without leveling the scars out first with subcision.

You don't need braces for sliding Genio because they only cut the chin and slide into a new position. If you have a fucked up bite, then you might need orthontics alongside a jaw surgery. I recently had mine - double jaw + sliding Genio with excellent results. If you have any questions, feel free to pm me.

Why sliding genio instead of chin implant?

Because sliding genioplasty results are greater and it provides a better jawline. When you get a chin implant you basically get that bulge sticking out of your chin, with sliding genioplasty you move the chin bone itself and looks more natural.

I am glad a person like you is here. Thanks for telling me that no braces needed because I was scared I would need to wear them. How do I know my bite is correct? I feel like I have a normal bite but it's just a little bit misaligned horizontally(?). Would you post or PM your before and after?

I see. Back in 2014, a Korean surgeon had recommended a chin implant and nose job to me after I had sent him my profile pictures. Perhaps best that I didn't go thru with it.

When I post my side profile on realself, surgeons say that I am a good candidate for chin surgery ans then they start offering me chin implants, dunno what's up with them because when you read reviews everyone prefers sliding genio over implants. Maybe because there ratio of chin implant surgeons is bigger than sliding genio surgeons and they're trying to get you to use them.
I could afford a chin implant right now since I've got £2000 saved up already but would rather get a sliding genio.
