Spirits are shit too but they get you drunk fast at least. Beer tastes bad and you have to drink a lot of it to feel anything.
Beer bloats me up and gives me bad diarreah. Eventually you'll get sick of it and find out that whiskey/rum/vodka/tequila does the trick and you can drink more and have less of a hangover.
