I do the same.
Rarely talk IRL, but love to talk in voice chat.
Although i do mainly good when there is no more than 4 people or so
i do best when there is only one other person

Opposite for me. I can't handle a conversation if it's just me and one other person. I quickly blank out and there's a long silence that lasts forever.
With 4 or more people though, there's other, actually socially competent people to carry the conversation, and I can just interject here and there occasionally.
Both online and IRL I fucking dread being alone with another person.

Even in game chats, I can be vocal if there's a few people (although WHENEVER THERE'S A FOID, They ruin it so I leave) and talk here and there.
