I hate being somali. Not for our culture food poverty location or religion. But because 70% of somali men are sub5 and we have a bad reputation.

To be able to consider myself a truecel i still put myself on the market. Today a friend of mine forwarded a girls number for me and we started calling on the phone for like 3 minutes until she asked me where i was from. I told her straight up im somali. She giggled a bit and before i could ask her where she came from she hung up on me. Mind you she does not even know what i look like or who i am. All she knew was my age, city i lived basic stuff yk.

It just makes me want to kms because i cant even blame her because no one wants to be with a somali. Lately when i scroll social media i even see people making fun of indians and somali. Not for what they do or what they look like but simply for being from that country. I wish i could just be somali without being sub5 and having a horrid reputation.

Long story short.

I got brutally rejected after telling a foid i am somali even when she did not get to see me yet, this is one of many reasons i hate being somali even when i like the culture and people.
