if so how was it like? i know it didnt help my situation growing up poor and being with a single mother is suicidefuel i think the government should take away kids away from single mothers

my father is always at work because my family is poor; many times I got to only see him in the morning, and my mother was a lazy, retard, diagnosed schizo that got sent multiple times to mental wards in my early teens.
