Anyone else depressed when watching tourists in his city?

I made a mistake and went outside of the poor working class part of the city where I live and went to the center to eat at some restaurant that I like.

It was packed with tourists like always. Rich Westerners full of money, couples traveling and having fun, large groups of NT people laughing and socializing, music, the smell of food, the nice old buildings, nice weather, summer... Everyone enjoying except me.

It makes me feel just how much I'm missing out. I would love to travel to some similar historic city like the one I live in as a tourist with somebody but I have no one to go with. It's hard to get motivated to go alone and it could end up a shit experience sitting in your hotel room all alone before sleep.

I need to stay away from the center and stay in my neighborhood where no tourists will ever dare to enter.

Kinda feels the same on my college campus tbh, in the sense that its just a non stopt party for everyone around me while im rotting in loneliness in despair.

I live in a generic american suburb though so i cant relate to the tourist thing

You must not be a natural introvert, I have travelled alone many times and felt very comfortable alone in hotel room, holidays are overrated though. I would like to visit USA for a couple of weeks sometime next decade but I'm sure that would be suifuel as the foids are very attractive there and there are many Chads

Never ever ever go outside of your comfort zone. I have similar experiences where if I go into the center of my town I will see everyone having fun, couples etc just like you. This is why I stay inside all the time.
