Agreed. I always loved old cars and they are worth saving. Never got a chance to save an old car from the graveyard but I have fixed old tractors that would have been junk if I hadn't fixed them

Nope. 2wd tractor as can be seen by the fact it has ribbed front tires (specifically made to steer better but not intended to be drive wheels), and it has agricultural tread in the back (good drive tire). 2wd tractors are very simple in the front compared to 4wd since there is no driveshafts or a front diff

Trucks are more like tractors though in that they usually come in either 2wd (rear wheel drive only) or 4wd.

The 4x4 ones are usually stockier looking and you can easily tell if they are 4x4 or 2wd models by looking under the front end to see if it has a front diff and driveshafts because 2wd won't have them

Actually this wasn't even a comparison of 2wd vs 4x4 this time and was just about an old vs a new truck. The old one is 100% 4x4 as you can see the front diff under there, but I can't tell about the other one from the pic
Front wheel drive cars in some cases tend to understeer in a competitive environment. 4 wheel drive cars are most stable and excell in the Rally sphere. Rear wheel drive cars are more prone for drifting. Middle rear drive cars like Honda NSX, Ferrari 512B, Renault Maxi 5 Turbo, Toyota MR2, Lamborghini Countach have the mass(weight) at the center, the most sensitive of the bunch to maneuver, prone to oversteer if not careful, but they gain a lot once you master their cornering ability.
