Unfortunaly I think that true drawing talent is mostly genetics. So you probably will never become a true pro
But maybe you can learn something with Loomis "Fun with a pencil" and some youtube tutorials

drawing is as much a genetic factor as being able to speak or ride a bycicle, more like a skill rather than an innate talent

ofc some people are better than others, but it's nothing that with the required practice is not reachable

I just get a good reference and draw really slowly. I only draw with a pencil though, never tried digital art. Here is a decently good drawing I made using this strategy a while back:

i like drawing from imagination but when i feel like i want to improve my technique i use a real object as a model and draw it and try to figure out what im doing wrong. and perfect it as much as i can.
i mean erasing and redrawing numerously and trying more than once.
i dont really believe in books that teach you to draw. i dont want to draw like they tell me. i want to draw my way
