By 'old things' I mean landline phones, VHS tapes, audio cassettes...

Landline

I aloloved old machines that still work. All the history they have and how well they were made to last so long. I have a radio from the 1930s with tubes that light up, i have a giant pair of speakers in my room from the 80s I still drive a 26 year old truck my parents got when i was 5

I like old bideogayms

Lots. What specifics you want to know about?

Just asking. I find older things more interesting. Like if you wanted to watch some movie, first you needed to find somewhere VHS tape and then buy it and put it into player.

Now you just need to click on a screen a few times. Seems soulless and zero effort.

I remember growing up where pay phones with quarters were everywhere and so were soda vending machines. We little bastards on our skateboards would take a blow torch to steal all the quarters.

I also have nostalgia for classic old video games as well. :feelsjuice:

I miss the days where rock bands and rock concerts were still a thing tbh. I mean, some dinosauric bands are still active, but there are no real independent scenes with minor bands anymore.

I find it hard to imagine that rock/hard rock once was mainstream music. This tendency ended probably after 1990.
Although popular nu-metal bands like Linkin Park could technically be considered as rock music.

At least where I live, rock was still fairly mainstream until the mid 00s. There was the emo scene and then the late "indie" scene with bands like Arctic Monkeys. Then it died for good after that. There are still independent bands and concerts but it's not nearly as common anymore, there's no real scene and most bands I see just perform covers.
