I honestly have no clue what's popular with normies nowadays. I'm aware drill's risen a lot in popularity with zoomers 'cause of TikTok, but that's about all I know.
I kinda stopped caring about music altogether in early 2022 'cause I no longer had the time or motivation to listen to new albums. In my case I'm not as much of a passive listener as other people, in the sense that when I listen to an album for the first time I have to sit down and give it a proper focused listen. I've been wanting to get into some underground rap stuff like pluggnb and sigilkore for years though
