What’s the cut off point for a “grown man” OP?

In my late twenties, still living at home with parents.

Never held a job, never help out around the house. I don't even have a driver license.

Come at me, bro.

My parents gave up on me years ago.

I also suspect they feel responsible for how I turned out. They always favoured my sister, who managed to become a relatively sucessful turbonormie.

They basically neglected me and spent all their time and resources nurturing my sister. That's why they don't kick me out of the house; deep down they feel guilty. We argued over this matter once and they didn't know how to defend themselves. They never tried to pressure me to get a job ever since then.

27, almost 28. I studied (and rotted) in a different city since i was 18 until some months ago i had to move back with them, because they discovered i was wasting their money and doing nothing with my life.
I dont know why, but i feel completely ashamed about it. I dont even feel like a failure (what was i supposed to accomplish? kek) but like an exotic pet tbh, as SkullWarrior said:

Most long-term NEET parents suffer from guilt for fucking their kids up. Most NEETS are hermits anyways. Their parents hardly ever have to interact with them if they don't want. It's not much different than owning some exotic pet that you keep fed.

Young adults is age 18-35. Middle adult is 36-55. So 36 and up would be full grown, technically. But I view full grown adult as outside typical college age... somewhere in the mid 20s.

There's no where to go tbh. Houses start at 400k while entry level jobs start at $12/hr. The Jews fucked up the economy.

Still gonna wait for a growth spurt at 29? I consider 21+ to be a full-grown men as thats when you're licensed to have most things.

They probably saw her doing well. So they're putting forth their efforts on her. Sorry about that.

Reporting in.

I'm not paying an exorbitant rent just to "prove" I'm grown up. I'll LARP in my parent's house to the very end.

Not considered that bad in Brazil though, most people are poor and can't "launch" off parent's house anyway (unless by going to a favela).

There is nothing wrong with your parents house if you are okay with living with them.

Only reason I moved out is so I do shit like drink freely and not having my parents judge me. If my parents didn't shame me for doing literally everything I find enjoyable I would probably still be living with them tbh tbh

Its too late for Brazil to fix itself. Are you ever gonna move out of Brazil?

I live with one parent, but they moved on with me after I graduated. I'm an equal or majority breadwinner, depending on the month.
