Most mental health meds aren't great, even detrimental. I generally view them as overprescribed, but not always inherently bad. But meds like adderall, and benzos, meds that actually work, are fine in my book. Yeah normie mental health conditions are often a meme, I'm talking about for people with real problems like us. Adderall helps me with work so much and keeping shit clean, plus helps my self esteem. Still an ugly retard that no woman will ever love and its fucked up that I have to take meds to feel almost normal tho

Many psychiatrists incorrectly believe the unproven Chemical Imbalance Hypothesis, while the only prove is in group testing where meds only slightly outperform a placebo control while giving tons of negative side effects. I think some meds are alright, especially short term. Xanax helped with my anxiety when it was too bad for me to work

Yeah, I was prescribed antipsychotics and gained a shitload of weight and it made my penis shrink. Zyprexa I believe. That shit should only be for high risk violent schizophrenics

I used methemphatemine for my job, but I quit it 3 mo ago, because it worsened my routine, eating habit, hygene. It is reliatively rare in my country, I got it in the countrys Poland, Latvia

Yes but "high risk" violent schizophrenics are probably an almost negligable minority, and even then I would argue that it is not ethical to poison them with pills and purposefully damage their health. Even for the criminally insane that's no excuse in my opinion. Most schizophrenics are not violent, that behaviour happens only in combination with drug use. I have been in a mental institution twice and people really have no way to defend themselves against harsh protocols and methods used by doctors like being put in isolation and receiving forced injections or worse. Most of the time people are provoked to violence due to inhumane treatment. That's more of a self defence reaction than being a danger to themselves or others. I think psychiatry has way too much power over people and no condition justifies irreversibly damaging a person with drugs.
