before we got off the gold standard, there were these consistent cycles of economic boom, stock market boom, followed by social degeneracy and an eventual recession where people become more depressed/more fiscally and socially conservative.
we haven't had those cycles in a long time because the fed just pumps liquidity into the economy and cancels the depression into a softer form of it called a recession.
its like the way serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI's) work. it cancels the depression but long term usage will fuck your brain up to the point where you have a psychotic episode.
the endless money printing by the fed is comparable to an individual taking those SSRIs. its delaying the inevitable.
At some point american society is gonna have a psychotic episode and I do not wanna be here when that happens.
The next time you hear a melody ask yourself why it sounds pleasant to the ear. The cyclical up notes and down notes. Because its natural, beautiful, and the way the universe works. The next time you hear a song without melody and its constantly an upper, ask yourself would you wanna listen to this constantly. Because eventually you listen to something else slower.
America is headed towards a psychotic episode. A crazed frenzy of bloodletting and mass chaos no doubt. The question is when.
