Another reason why so many men start to give up on dating besides female hypergamy, dating apps, sexual revolution, feminism and all the other contributing factors we've discussed plenty of times on this forum, is simply this:
It's always one-sided effort.
Lots of men are tired/jaded, burnt out cause women expect the men to make all the effort. From approaching to setting dates, the man has to take the lead.
Isn't it funny that women the past decades were advocating en masse for 'progressive values'? Yet when it comes to dating and relationships, they are still stuck in the 40's with their head and expect the man to 'take the lead'.
I was scrolling through YouTube earlier this day and a guy simply stated:
'I wait for the woman to give me a clear indication/signal of interest (a green light if you will), before I make the first move'.
And he received lots of backlash, I'm like wtf? That's perfectly reasonable in my opinion.... what else is he supposed to do? Read her mind > Walk up to her > cold approach and get labeled as a creep or play that game, where 90% of men get rejected? Why is he considered 'not a real man' for waiting on IOI's (indication of interest) from the females side before he makes a move?
It's always one sided. Women want to lay on their fat ass all day long, do nothing all day, contribute nothing of value to a man's life and still expect to be approached, for merely having a hole. All this, while HE is the one who provides, protects and supports her emotionally (overlaps perfectly with one of my threads in the past, where I explained why men are the prize). Bitch, you voted for progressive values, so now is YOUR time to at least show strong indication of interest to the guy in question, show him that it's safe for him to approach you. That's literally the least she could do. But no, as always:
