Haven't watch Inyusha because I'm to busy gay fagging over Koboyashi, but watched K-on, its pretty good. Trying to get around Koboyashi, Casshern, Code Geass, perhaps Inyusha then. I like the Inyusha opening, out of all of those other openings/ost, the older animes tend to have nicer openings though.

The K-On opening is so nostalgic though <3.

Bruce Faulconer gets a lot of heat from anime purists and others, but I think that this OST for DBZ was simply phenomenal and far above 90% of the Japanese equivalent. I used to have every OST CD for DBZ, something like 10 total, on my HD. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get them all back, but they were great pump-up music for the gym and video games.

DBZ was one of the few anime where I truly feel that the dub + alternate OST was superior to the original Japanese versions. Truly an achievement and is part of the reason why generations of young men in the USA accepted anime into their lives (before and after Pokemon). 

Obviously Cell's Theme is bad ass as fuck, I played a great version of it on StepMania a couple thousand times I'm sure. Here is one that is underrated AF I think:

It's used in a lot of awesome moments in the series besides the first body transformation (although that was obviously dope too, so dramatic when it first happened). Here is one of my favorite moments when this song played:

I agree, the English version of the show had great music. Nice finds with the Ginyu transformation piece and Call the Dragon. Haven't listened to dbz OST in a while. This thread reminded me of just how good it was.

That's the plan.  I haven't been watching most of the filler and I still remember the marineford arc since it's the one I stopped at even though I enjoyed it. I think I just stopped keeping up with most anime and shows because I started college and had a rough time. Even by ignoring all the episodes I actually remember or don't care about, I suspect I will still have like 700 eps to watch.  On break I have been able to go from episode 1 last Friday to the Alabasta arc today, but I will probably slow down with the next semester.  Going through the episodes will at least give me something consistent until I catch up in March or April.  I heard OP kept improving after the timeskip and the quality kept up after Marineford so I'm excited to see what's happening in the newer arcs.  The only problem is to get to those parts I'll have to grind through Alabasta and Skypiea and I remember especially disliking Skypiea even though I don't remember much of the details.

It's alright. I think the original material is 10x better than the anime because I'm not a huge fan of toei animation.

I stopped.watching one piece right at the Zou arc because I needed a pause after the dressrosa (It was way too long)

That arc seems interesting but 118 episodes would definitely be a drag.   I guess even with more interesting plots the series is still dragged out.  Super long arcs in shounen anime usually annoy me like the Hueco Mundo mess in Bleach or the 4 year Shinobi War Arcs in naruto
