I remember watching those genealogy shows on tv younger and seeing people trace their ancestors to 1500 and finding out their great grand uncle stole a horse or something. Only stories I know of were my grandparents running from lions and elephants

Well that is when shit gets complicated then. Andronovo mixed themselves out when they moved south, and I would consider your ancestors to be people who look like you in the past century rather than someone thousands of years ago. Many phenotypes were created from mixing with different other population groups, so Adronovo is technically your ancestor, but by this question, I think it means people who phenotypically look like you.
