The problem begins when they have no understanding of japanese anime culture!
These RETARDED executives saw everything as "cartoons" and since they are cartoons, they are all "children's" stuff. We know that this is not the case. Anime and other entertainment media in Japan are divided by demographics, with kodama being aimed at young children, shounen for teenagers, shoujo for foids teenagers and shounen being something more aimed at a more mature or adult audience.
Despite this division, there is no such thing as an "age rating", this is up to the viewer and, in the case of minors, their parents to decide whether it is appropriate or not.
That said, the "age rating" for cartoons in the United States is completely RETARDED. They are basically cartoons, which are all for children, and... The Simpsons, Family Guy... that's it. So instead of understanding the culture behind anime, they decided to simply cut and censor absolutely everything that wasn't politically correct, religiously correct or the minimum of what their burger heads interpreted as "eroticism", aka any girl who wasn't old, ugly, fat, unattractive and with a square masculine face, the way they like it, anything outside of that for this joke of a people is "pedophilia"
They cut cleavage, magic cards, dialogues, jokes, characters, absolutely everything that deviated from the standard that conservative feminazi mothers found absurd, the American audience of the 2000s that watched anime on TV grew up eating Jewish shit, not anime! Today, there is no longer any nudity in shounens. At most, there is unrepresented nudity where they don't detail anything, like they did in this demonic remake of Ranma
