Teachers are given little respect in high school
The kids are forced to stay there; rebellious and hormonal and the teachers are forced to endure them.

The stricter the more respected I notice, avoid being nice, I had a teachers who were too nice and got pushed over by students. I had others who were super strict and would yell and shame students. I had one who made himself respected only once he yelled for half an hour about how he was tired and how kids would be facing consequences in anger.

IDK if it’s the same in public schools.

Some I can't answer because I want to remain private. But: USA, no autism, teachers dont deal with special needs or what's called ESE. Administrators/guidance counselors deal with that. No, I don't talk about redpill or blackpill. I notice I tend to favor the male students but it's not on purpose - those are just the ones that talk to me more. I don't say any dating platitudes like be yourself. However once a kid came to me to ask about writing a fucking poem to some girl to convince her to go out with him. Apparently it was the advice of some foid english teacher. I just told him it's a bad idea and girls don't either like you or they don't.

Got my AP certification last year to teach AP level. Those are by far my favorite periods. Nationally, 1/3 of kids shouldn't even be in high school. In the early 1900s they would be working in a farm or factory doing manual labor (where they belong).

Good question. It's literally the only non-minimum wage job I got offered at the time. I can teach AP Calculus but people much stupider than me make 5x as much.
But actually the economy is now so good thanks to Herr Trump that it looks like I can escape this. The school district has increased pay 5% this year because of shortages of qualified Math and Science teachers but it would have to be 20% to make a difference. The USA is #1 for college and graduate school education but grade school education is shit because - literally - only failures and losers will teach for crummy pay + abuse.
