You see these dudes (ALWAYS low-tier normies or incels in denial who usually adopt a thin veneer of male feminism so as to appease m'ladies) and they gladly take (usually heavily photoshopped) pics of all the local aspiring gAwtH internet models and shit. They also always kiss their ass and enable them. Photography is thus in general a largely cucked field of work. Now yes obviously nature photography and all the other forms of photography like that are exempt here but I'm just saying MOST aspiring local photographers seem to fall into this pathetic beta simp category who aspire to make a career out of being a fucking professional orbiter.

I don't know any aspiring local photographers because they're not worth knowing. Photographers as a whole mostly died long ago as every idiot think they're a photographer just because their phone has a camera.

Even if you wanted to become a photographer most things you do in your training is related to working with people (especially women) and doing shit like photoshopping their pictures to improve their looks.

It's not even the photographers' choice most of the time, but it's the only option they have because this is the only field of professional photography where there is still a demand for your workforce. Becoming a nature photographer is absolutely illusoric nowadays because there is literally no money and a minority of extremely famous people while the rest rots.

Starting a training to become a professional photographer is social suicide nowadays anyways because literally everyone can make photos whose quality is only slightly beneath the quality of your photos with a cheap phone camera, so you throw out the money for extremely expensive equipment just to get a picture that is virtually indistinguishable from a normal mobile phone photo for the unitiated.

A few years ago one could easily look down on hobby-photographers who use their phone, but nowadays the technology has improved so much that there is almost no difference and it's far easier to handle a mobile phone.

Photography as a hobby is extremely satisfying nonetheless, but professional photography is almost a guarantee of being either around the most obnoxious scum or not in employment.
