Am I the only one that really likes off-topic sections on forums/groups?

One of the main reasons I don't post on Facebook and reddit groups much is because of the lack of off-topic sections. I guess I like to find a community that I can relate to in some way, and then it's nice to just natter about all kinds of things, but returning to the core subject matter of the community fairly often. On fb and reddit though you have to stick to just that one topic with the group, so it feels less like a fleshed-out community to me.

Does anyone else know what I mean?

Yes. Especially these days kinda important with all the all the retardation elsewhere.


Forums are masterrace.

More and more good people abandon them as well though.

And people generally split up, Facebook, Reddit, forum one to five.
