Can anyone recommend substances that are similar in effects to ritalin ? I recenly tried some again and it made me way less fidgety and more relaxed. Preferably an alternative thats non prescrpition and not illegal

Have you tried blue lotus flowers? It's natural, quite expensive but has a relaxing effect. You can make it with tea.

There is a bit of evidence(my own accounts+studies) showing it does somewhat increase your focus and clarity, but it's more of a "bump" if anything.

And ofc, it's only short-term.
