I reserved parking in a structure online ($7). I get there, and I have to show them the barcode on my phone. Due to the thick concrete walls of the structure, i get no signal. I drive outside, and take a screenshot. The employee refuses to scan the screenshot, as "the barcode is always changing" (it doesn't). At this point, a line of cars has formed behind me, and there's nowhere else to park, so i pay the $20 standard rate. When I park and get out, my phone signal comes back on. The barcode online is the same as my screenshot.
I tell the attendant his mistake and he says he cant refund me (due to paying by card). I tell him that he screwed me over, and he belligerently tells me to "get the hell out of here". I loudly say "Fuck you!" to his face, and he reaches for his radio (to call security). I decide to let it go, and walk away. As i'm walking away, he shouts "fuck you too, and if you come back here, im gonna kick your ass!". It took everything in my body to not walk back and beat his ass. Especially later on when I came back for my car. However, this dumbass didn't realize that his name is printed on my receipt. I'm gonna call the company tomorrow, get my money refunded, and get his ass fired.
