How is that a point against martial arts? In life or death situations martial arts is only a small buff. It's not the main thing in your arsenal. Martial arts are for hand-to-hand situations.

If martial arts are merely an entertainment-based fighting art form, then they are futile. Since they cannot be applied to a wide range of situations, as a utilitarian who values efficiency and necessity, I reject any unnecessary techniques or conditions that do not lead to a quick resolution of a fight. Therefore, I consider martial arts to be useless.
