I didn't drink most of my life, but this past year I picked up a drinking habit as a way to cope and increase social opportunities. What started out as drinking at a friend's house every couple weekends is now almost a daily habit in isolation. Most days I am fine with a couple drinks - 4-6, but then some days I go off the wall and drink 10-15 (and sometimes more), usually blacking out. This past weekend I pounded a whole 5L of sugary boxed wine. Now my arms and chest are tingling and so are my legs. I rode my bike a long distance to try to sweat it out. Took vitamins to restore micros. I guess I just have to wait it out and take a few days or weeks off. It sucks because I am bored and lonely as fuck right now and alcohol passed the time. I should stop getting party-sized alcohol containers and just stick with single bottles of wine, six packs and 40s. I tend to drink more when pissed and frustrated. I think the sugar content also masked the alcohol so I ended up drinking way too much one day (17 std. drinks over 8 hours, but I lost count)
I hope it's just dehydration effects and not alcohol neuropathy. Man this world sucks. Even copes come with a catch.
