You literally didn't have access to normal human development for the last 5-7 years. What are hell you supposed to do?.

You missed crucial developmental milestones for half a decade (probably more time), milestones that were supposed to give you experience and maturity in terms of human relations, all of those parties and social gatherings that you weren't invited mattered and all those kisses, hugs and sex that you were supposed to have mattered

Imagine being a 9 year old kid or a 50 year old man in a college party:

• You as a 9 year old kid will feel simply impotent, uninterested and out of place, you can't connect with college-aged people because you don't have the developmental milestone that they already had
• You as a 50 year old man will feel very confused...maybe sad or nostalgic, you can't simply connect with those people because you live in world's apart

I feel like both, I can't connect with 20+ year old people because of lack of maturity and positive experiences and I live in world's apart from them.

Edit: Having a good childhood matters, having a good teenhood absolutely matters, having a decent social life as a teen matters, experiencing teen love totally matters.

Fucking brutal. Im 20 too. Im the opposite though, I can't connect to anyone younger than me in a significant age gap, or older than me in a significant age gap. I actually despise anyone that is younger than me and have incredible anger when I see anyone that looks prepubescent because I envy the fact that they have their entire teenage years in front of them. Now I know how an 80 year old must feel when they hate young people in their 20's. I also despise people that are older than millennials because they grew up in eras that were much better for young men and probably experienced relationships, sex, joy and bliss towards life. They obviously gained more than they lost from life because they made it that far without taking their own life. I can connect to people that are my age the most and have similar interests except I can't form any emotional relation to them, just matter of fact shit and conversations that go nowhere.

Not 25, but 18 for sure once highschool is over should be the minimum age for posting here. 18 is the best age to determine or not whether you are socially retarded because all of the teenage akwardness is mostly flushed out,you can't blame being a minor on your situation like being trapped in your parents house, and you arent trapped/forced to be in school. Youngcels can find many scapegoats to blame their current situation on that are out of their hands which is why I hate youngcels.
