I’m going to draw the comparison of this over hyped show about mental health to another.

13 reasons why had better cinematography than this horrible British slop. 13 reasons is still an awful show but at least it kept the attention to go 4 train wreck seasons. The reason I make the comparison of these two shows is also the outside impact it’s having on nomies. 13 reasons started as “how to have a hard conversation” but it’s really just glorified revenge suicide. It’s the same with Adolescence. People are making it out to be “a hard conversation about youth media” and blaming it on the young. Who is responsible for what children consume? Who’s responsibility is it when children are bullying each other? Who’s responsible if your child feels isolated and seeks attention online? Of course, let’s blame the internet.
