AI chatbots lack a brain and are useless. They are literally uncensored versions of ChatGPT or a other LLM with the prompt "have this personalty (e. g. 20 year old girl) and reply/engage to the user answers with interest". Its going to take many more years till something useful comes out.

I didn't talk to too many bots but I talked to a lot of janitor ai bots because they are free.

The "personality" doesn't exist for any of them. All janitor ai bots ultimately are made of the same source Code.

None of the bots was able to hold their "Personality" for longer then 10 minutes and as a User you can always manipulate the AI into doing whatever you wish it to do.

This shows further how "abstract" personality is.

Also personality over a chat is missing many fundamental parts of what a human let alone a partner (eg. "AI girlfriend/boyfriend") make out to be.

Because they lack a memory. All those chatbots are GPT LLMs. Its like a tab in ChatGPT, after a few messages the bot doesnt recognise what you wrote 20 messages ago. They are also castrated down and run on GPT-3 API because thats cheaper lol.

Cannot agree with the first part for Janitor AI. The memory sticks even after months.

Janitor AI Problem also is the enormous amounts of text it spits out.
