I was wondering about this recently because of course... aside from anything else the semen is going from the man to the woman. So logically it's more likely for the STD to be passed in that direction.
I wonder if men or women are more likely to *have* STDs though. I'd think women are probably significantly more likely to have them mainly because they have sex more often.
So possibly overall it balances itself out.
