Venting Accidentally said the n-word in the library

The library was so quiet that my mind must have forgotten I was in public so while I was hitting the books I suddenly had a flashback to when a (white) guy from my class banged my sister so i grimmaced my face for a brief second and muttered the n-word once under my breath

when I looked up like 5 people looked at me like they definitely heard what I said . I should have said something like "I was just saying I wish I had a snickers" or something but I instead panic and left, which I think further cemented in their minds that I did in fact say a bad word

now I'm anxious AF that they are gonna spread a rumor and even have me beaten up
