Ever since the U.S. Supreme overruled Roe vs. Wade (Conservative Supermajority of 6 - 3, with three of the conservative judges appointed by Trump), abortion laws could be decided by the states and not the Federal government

Missouri also used to ban abortion, but that got overturned in the ballots on November of last year
