Syrian Shawarma 

  

There are a lot of Syrians where i live and they make the finest Shawarma ever. I love the tenderness of the the chicken and the heavenly white sauce that gives me an orgasm and the crispy light bread that makes my stomach happy and comfortable. 

It's absolutely beautiful.

I suppose shawarmas are gaining in popularity but even in my cosmopolitan area most don't know of them. I went to a one-off sandwich place run by a Middle Eastern guy (sadly the place is gone now and there is now a Jersey Mikes there...) and he made a shawarma that, I admit, at first I didn't like but acquired a taste for. What put me off it at first was that there was almost as much fresh parsley as beef. But it did have some garlicky sauce that was great. Soon I was craving the heavy parsley, too.
