1.The first study highlights how important looks are in a speed dating setting.

This is important for multiple reasons, most studies on attraction have to do with online dating, which is often criticized for not having "ecological validity'' (which the authors touch upon)

MAJOR FINDINGS
MALE ATTRIBUTES THAT PREDICTED A WOMAN'S ROMANTIC INTEREST
  1. Physical attractiveness (rs = 0.88, p<0.01)
  2. Sport/Exercise involvement or interest (rs = 0.48, p<0.01)

The r squared value is remarkably high for this study. The p value is also rather low, meaning that the hypothesis the authors used (looks > everything) can be accepted.

The study also found that many aspects of personality have little to know difference in how one attracts women.

  1. Big Five Personality Traits
  2. Affect
  3. Attachment Style
  4. Self-esteem
  5. Political leanings
  6. Values
  7. Social interest
  8. Similarity
And a segment from the conclusions can best sum this up: "It is remarkable that the strongest predictor of initial attraction in a speed-dating context was partner’s physical attractiveness, and, most importantly, men and women showed an extremely similar pattern."

2. A study that shows personality plays a negligible role in attracting someone.

In this study they had adults rate the personality of adults by making them watch a video on said adult talk about their hobbies. Not surprisingly, people who were rated as more attractive were considered "more interesting". Rather similar to this graph by okcupid.

A couple quotes from the authors:
"Our findings that absolute trait levels for the Big-Five personality factors are unrelated to interest contradict the findings of others studies "
"In a partial support of the fifth hypothesis, we found that physical attractiveness, a trait that both male and female responders could agree on in their ratings of the targets, suggesting that trait could be readily perceived, predicted romantic interest."
"We found no support for the first hypothesis (similarity predicts attraction), for the second hypothesis (dissimilarity predicts attraction), or for the fourth hypothesis (sex moderates what predicts attraction). "

3. Hypergamy is real, as shown here.

"It turns out that, as it pertains to incoming likes, straight females on Hinge show a Gini index of 0.376, and for straight males it’s 0.542. On a list of 149 countries’ Gini indices provided by the CIA World Factbook, this would place the female dating economy as 75th most unequal (average — think Western Europe) and the male dating economy as the 8th most unequal (kleptocracy, apartheid, perpetual civil war — think South Africa)."

"I’d say that the biggest dating challenge men face on apps is, as it is in real life, the burden to initiate. On Hinge, men send a first like more than three times as often as women. But more than that, when women do initiate, they tend to do so on a smaller segment of the male population. For example, while about half of all likes sent to women go to about 25 percent of women, half of all likes sent to men go to a much smaller segment – about 15 percent. "

Now the article was written by a cuck, so he tells men to "initiate more". I'm personally not convinced since in the data that he shows, men already do most of the initiating.

4. And finally, even if you have a bad personality, it won't matter if you're chad.

The author opens up acknowledging the importance of looks: "Physical attractiveness has been known to act as a cue in determining perceptions of other individuals. Possession of a positive characteristic, such as attractiveness, results in a positive cognitive bias towards the individual. Similarly, possession of a negative characteristic, such as unattractiveness, results in the opposite effect."

The author then goes on to say: "Findings show that a “double” devil effect occurred with the unattractive high violation condition. Norm violation also presented significant results, while facial attractiveness alone did not. Findings pose implications for online dating and jury deliberations."

Always remember that women have it much easier in dating, and that a large sum of men have an incredibly difficult time in dating. Whenever IT or bluepillers talk about what attracts women, they are either retarded or lying. Because we can prove why looks are the most important aspect of ones looks. Just show them this post, they'll have a hard time responding to data with their feelings.

i dont argue with them idc what they think

They also think that gravity must not be real right?

I don't really care what they think either. But it's not a bad idea to try to convince people "in the middle". Also, many people who post here used to be male feminists or browse IT, so it's not impossible to convince some of them.

This data has been repeated over and over and over. If data could convince bluepillers there would be no bluepillers

We didn't need a scientific study to confirm what we already knew for ages. Women judge you 100% based on your looks. You can see this by the way they react to you. You'd have to be a fucking moron not to notice it.
