I think time has proven that being handsome is a must if you want to have a chance with girls in today’s society. In this thread I propose a more “in depth” look at female nature, while trying to not go too far into the natural selection processes at play. That way I may perhaps help a few ignorantcels to cope by wisemaxxing.
To start with a very basic way to look at it : Females have so much choice that it allows them to behave the way they do. When you are handed everything to you, and are biologically predisposed to have low empathy and even be sometimes “cruel” in order to select the best partner (/genes), that results in what we call the modern female.
Now if we go one layer down, this world aka nature is a big system that adjusts constantly and we humans are a bunch of organic matter that spreads and reproduces under some selective pressures that have made us adopt a genetic strategy where females are the “gatekeepers”. Whether or not this gate is accessible for the average guy depends on the environment, his perceived genetic “quality” and the reproductive strategy the group (/society) has adopted. Getting mad at this reality is pointless since it played a part into the processes that allowed your genetic makeup to exist, so your very existence now.
For centuries, in many societies (including the ones that strived on the monotheistic religions, aka the “we all serve the same lord” group survival strategy), there was an equilibrium between these four parameters : Female pickiness (aka gene picking), Female predation (their need for a resources provider, to be able to bear and feed the next generation during its early years), and Male sexual nature (the genes associated with the need to impregnate as much as possible were selected in the Y chromosome as they efficiently contribute to the overall reproduction and spreading of the whole genetic makeup ). The fourth parameter (that varies and leads the variation of the three others, if we simplify) is not surprisingly the environment and how much (& how easily) it can provide.
Restricted access to resources allowed for the selection of monogamy as a viable solution in many places worldwide. Men predated on the environment, women predated on men and gave to their children. Right now we are in a period of rapid transition : access to calory/ressources has grown exponentially these last 50 years and is continuing to do so.
Technology has made the access to resources easy, and by extension easy for females. The “equilibrium” that existed is no more since there hasn’t been enough time for the model to re-adjust.
On one end, the selective pressure on females has dropped or at least didn’t increase, and in the other end the selective pressure on men has increased since it is much more about perceived genetic quality now that the resource problem has been solved and access to potential mates has increased tenfold. This can be perceived as a blessing for humanity’s gene pool and as a curse for us men of questionable genetic quality.
Perceived genetic “quality” has some common parameters (symetry, heigth, etc..), but also some that can vary a lot depending on the environment . For instance, in the west it is much more about perceived fighting sucess (trauma resistant facial bones/ skull, large frame, ...) than it is in east asia (neoteny and other nonthreat indicators, aka prettyboy look). As environment varies these can vary, but one thing is sure : they take a while to shift and the female brain won’t change overnight or a few generations to stop preferring a specific type of men that it perceives as the top of the genetic spectrum. In the west
will keep spreading their genetic material for a long time. As for (which are the remnants of a reproductive strategy for less desirable men that was once viable when resources were scarce)they will slowly evaporate from the genepool. At least us are woke, but still perceived as genetic trash nonetheless .
