we all know the story of Adam and Eve in the garden of eden, YHWH placed them and made them ignorant of evil then lucifer came and told Adam and Eve to eat from the apple of the tree of knowledge of good and evil then they were introduced to evil and then all 3 of them were banished from the garden.

But, doesn't this mean Lucifer gave them free will? free will means having choices between more than one thing, and YHWH only wanted them to know good but Lucifer came and gave them another choice than good which was evil

this raises two more questions, WHY did YHWH want them to stay ignorant of evil? and does this make Lucifer the good guy and YHWH the bad guy?

Abrahamism has more holes than a gruyere cheese, you probably thought harder about it than the bronze age writers did.

my iron age j00 ancestors didnt care or thought about how logical their stories would end up being

christians are the strangest bunch of people
they are the type to go up to a deformed person and say " hes a demon look at his eyes lets give him the holy word and make fun of him" :soy:

On question ,yes ,the existence of evil is an intrinsic part of free will ,without evil there really is no free will which is why God allowed the enemy to use the serpent to test Adam and Eve. No this not make satan good but simply that if angels rebel God will use them as faith testers.

This does not mean God wanted Adam and Eve to be forever without knowledge.Gods plans plan was for Adams and Eve to increase in their knowledge of God their creator father. So the test of the nachash or the snake was not ignorance vs knowledge of the world but knowledge of God vs knowledge of the world!

:waitwhat: still doesn't explain it tbh

Besides God knew that satan would tempt adam and eve because he is all knowing, so he allowed man to fall.

Also god knew that satan would fall as well so predeterminism means there is no such thing as free will.

Just because God knows all things does not mean that God does allow freedom of choice!

Adam and Eve had free will to begin with. That's how they chose to disobey God.

So if Yhwh used the serpent to test the faith of Adam and Eve and he knew they were gonna eat from the tree why did he get so mad

I’m a Jew, give me 20 billion dollars to go bomb the shit out of a neighboring country, THERE IS A LIST!

Even though he knew, from the very beginning, that it’d happen?
Just because God knows all does not mean he will interfere with humans freedom of choice. For if he did so we as humans would no longer have free will !

maybe his logic is that if you never know evil then you will never do evil or fall prey to it. like when people say never do drugs, not even once, I believe it is about addiction, what happens is most people if they start doing something and it feels good they get addicted and it ruins life and community.

No,

God gave Adam, Eve and his angels the freedom to obey or disobey God.

Lucifer and his buddies decided to disobey God, and they tempted Eve to do it also because Lucifer is a Chad (the most beautiful of angels) and he knew a foid wouldn't turn down Chad's request, even if he asked her to eat shit, she would, he knew.

Lucifer also knew Adam as a big beta simp and would follow whatever m'lady was doing. Lucifer knew simps would eat shit if he found m'lady eating shit.

So, Lucifer knew that he would make Adam and Eve disobey god by preying on their human weaknessess.

Lucifer is the original Chad of disobedience.

Adam and Eve were just too weak to stay in the garden indefinitely. Their weaknesses would have them banished sooner or later.

How can you experience good without experiencing evil tho

the real question is why is the proverbial snake there.
to give knowledge of good and evil to them like god has, genesis 3:22
so Lucifer didn't DECEIVE them but instead PERSUADED them

it's good that they disobeyed god, because genesis 3:22 god talks to his angels or maybe other gods and says "the man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil" so they DID become like god, just like Lucifer promised. is it bad to become like god, in this sense? no its not

its about relativity, what you consider good can be bad if you find someting better.

tbh the snake didnt lie about anything but what it meant when it said you will become like god, does that mean god also lives in limitation. limitation and discipline is the key to living a good life or something.
