Originally I was going to write this post as a reply in my "The proper way to lie about your status as an incel." thread but I think it warrants it's own thread. Most of this is common sense to most of you, but there's a sizable minority on here that needs to hear this.

In that thread there were people saying things along the lines of "lol who cares?" "I don't care what normies think of me" etc. I'm guessing these comments were all from young college students, NEETs, or people who are otherwise sheltered from the real world (having to generate income, pay bills, etc.) Unfortunately in the workplace, what your coworkers and your superiors think about you matters. Your reputation matters.

As an ugly male, you're already "creepy" by default and that's especially true if you're an older ugly male. The thing is, "creepiness" isn't a binary, it exists on a slider. You need to do everything you can to minimize how creepy you'll be perceived, because as an ugly guy, you're walking a very thin line. Ugly males must follow the following rules:

1) Signal that they are "normal" which includes what I mentioned aforementioned thread, but also includes the subjects you talk about (keep them as mainstream and socially acceptable as possible). But don't be too vocal or overt about it, just do this passively and subtly from time to time.

2) Virtue signal. Just like with signaling that you are "normal" you need to do it a little as to not raise suspicion about you, but at the same time you definitely don't want to be too vocal about it or it could similarly backfire. Again do this briefly, sparingly and subtly.

3) Don't talk too much. As an ugly male in the workplace, you need to minimize the amount of attention to bring to yourself.

4) Don't be outwardly confident. At the same time you don't want to come off as insecure. Be a soulless drone who's simply competent/proficient at the job.

5) Don't try to socialize with your female coworkers full stop ever. Only speak to them when you absolutely have to for the job.

6) It's best not to tell any jokes at all as you don't want to be seen as cringe/creepy/offensive. But if you do, only use your least offensive material and even then only around male coworkers.

If you fail to follow these rules, there are consequences even if you're good at your job. The most obvious and extreme is getting fired. Unless you're really bluepilled/autistic it probably won't come down to that, but there are other things that can happen. Like you might not get unceremoniously fired, but there will probably come a time when they'll need to lay people off, and you'll most certainly be the first to go. Same goes for when they have to cut people's hours or send people home early because business is slow (while the idea of going home early sounds great to a 19 year old living with his parents, it's not so great when you're getting paid hourly and you have bills to pay). If it's a temp-to-perm situation, they won't keep you. Same goes for if you're working for a company through a temp agency, they won't hire you directly and just get rid of you when the contract is over.

Yeah yeah, I know, shit sucks, but these are rules you must follow for basic survival (maintaining a source of income to keep a roof over your head). And even if you're a NEET, this information will come in handy when you inevitably won't be able to be a NEET and will have to support yourselves. One thing you'll realize is that in the workplace, most ugly guys more or less follow all of these rules. They understand the unwritten rules of conduct for an ugly male, and most probably learned the hard way early on in life. But of course you will get some bluepilled/autistic ugly guys who don't understand the rules, and you'll find they don't last very long.

Put this on must read mods, legit advice that my wizard irl friend follows.

Agreed. The only one I would disagree with is virtue signaling. Don't be a pushover. You're there to get paid and that's it. You're not getting any extra effort out of me. Unless you enjoy being the people pleaser, this can only get you taken advantage of.

I'm so thankful I never have to do this shit again.

Thanks for this bro I'm autistic and needed this as a reminder. Matter of fact I'm going to screenshot it

Sad advice to have to follow but it's the truth.

Also when someone makes fun of you just do your best to ignore it. If you report them you'll be more likely to get in trouble.

Think best is to establish an identity you can project outwards. "I'm an IT security guy. I have these more or less socially acceptable hobbies." I always had weird, out there interests revolving around exactly the things you are not supposed to talk about. So I know how it goes when you can't display who you are openly to others and it's not good. Also not realistic to fake, since you want to be able to talk about it and so on. Basically, if you want to mingle with normies and make it work you need a profession and something you can talk about which they also at least have heard of. Being a NEET and wanting to talk about race realism does not suffice.
