Some will lie to say they were taller, like me with converse shoes was about the same height one with basketball shoes who claimed 5'11.
Some would claim way over 6ft, lol; (5'10 with shoes, so 5'9 without).
If I didn't get taller, I would say the average height is closer to 5'8 than 5'9; from my high school years, it feels like it was around 5'8.
