On the whole, the number of Americans who had sex once a week or more dropped from 51 per cent in 1996 to 39 per cent in 2018. Among the young, 18- to 30-year-olds were roughly twice as likely to report being celibate in the past year compared with adults in their 50s.

Holy fuck if this isn't proof that hypergamy is real then idk what is. 20 years ago half of us wouldn't even be here coping. If we were born 20 years earlier half of us would've made it, a quarter of which would've been having sex regularly and some of us would be chads.
