Has anyone tried this?
Apparently if you want to boost serotonin then the pathway is:
Tryptophan -> 5-HTP -> serotonin
And B6 helps the conversion from 5-HTP into serotonin.
I'm trying this for OCD but it apparently helps with depression too.
I took 5-HTP with B6 but now I seem to be very very sleepy, lol
Maybe I'll try supplementing tryptophan and B6 and see if that boosts my serotonin in a way that's easier for my body to regulate.
