And right at the top of of the results was this table which also broke down the percentages of people from various age groups who were behind police-recorded sexual offences against various underage groups:
Not only, as could already be guessed from the first chart I'd say, were 12 to 15-year-olds the most common offender class in general, being 19.9% of the perpetrators, just below one fifth and 0.9% more than 18 to 24-year-olds who were 19% of the offenders, but they were specifically the most common offenders targetting kids younger than them, whom they assaulted at even higher rates than their average. They were 25% of the offenders attacking children three years old and under, a few percentage points above 25 to 34 and 35 to 44-year-olds. Then they were 39.8% of all offenders attacking four to six-year-olds, basically 40% by themselves, with absolutely no other age group even coming close, and finally they were 30% of all offenders behind sexual offences commited against seven to 11-year-olds, not as overwhelming of a relative majority but still more than any other two age groups of offenders put together.
We are reaching levels of innocent angels innocent angeling never even conceived of before, and these are 2012 data. I wonder what the data would look like now.
