As for the UK: you're less likely to be shot dead by the police as the vast majority of them don't carry firearms regularly...or so I thought.
We do have armed police but they usually only get called in when there is a terrorism threat.

Yes, I'm aware that some British police are sometimes armed. I was saying that, on a regular basis, the idea of getting shot and killed by the police is rare in the UK. That was in response to the poster who said the UK was the worst place to be an outcast. At least Britons don't have to live in fear of being shot-and-killed by the police for being their spergy selves. That was my point.
