Tommy Morrison did beat the older, 40 something version of George Foreman and mostly by staying away and being elusive. In a punch out, even the older version of Foreman would have been too dangerous and he knew it, hence the way he fought. A 25 year old George Foreman would have been fast enough on his feet to catch up with Tommy Morrison and when he did, it would have been the end. We need only to look at the Mercer vs Morrison fight to see how he would have fared against George Foreman who hit harder and had a better jab than Ray Mercer.
