Not in the past 6 months.
I'm terrified of one day having to do that.
one time i had to get up at 3am to start at 6 for a 10 hour day of carrying plywood boards and other materials up 6 stories and across an open rooftop in the middle of a wet and windy winter day. That was probably in the top 5 worst experiences in my life.
I would rather go homeless if that was the only job around.
the banter with the other workers was the only thing that kept me going tbh, if you're going into manual labour you for sure want to get a trade asap, the plumbers and electricians got to leave as soon as their work was done.
