Welcome to my FIRST EVER Horror Movie Review, Let Us Begin Gentlemen!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNDDDD
The first movie on my list is:
The Thing, (1982)
Overview: Classic sci-fi film which easily makes its way into horror without even being categorized as horror, American researchers residing in desolate Antartica discover an anomaly, it is a good movie that is nowhere near predictable and is very well known.
Experience: Watching the movie was very interesting for the first time with not much background on it, you're not too sure what's really going on until about five minutes into the movie, it's a movie that you can't really pinpoint how it's going to go down while you're watching it, since it's not exactly horror but can still surprise you.
Rating: 8/9, Classic, and great for binge watching sci-fi horrors or rewatching in general.
Cloverfield (2008)
Overview: Normies going about their life enjoying it, but little do they know the disasters soon to unfold which are worlds beyond their control.
Experience: Pretty fucking annoying to be quite frank, this movie will piss you off to no end, most of them have an incredibly dumb mindset and most of the movie you will just wonder if they really want to live. But the graphics are pretty good and it does a lot for a found footage film.
Rating: 5/9 Only because it has very good effects for a found footage and will surprise you with how stupid these people get.
Beyond The Black Rainbow (2010)
Overview: a bit complex, trippy-futuristic, takes place during the MK Ultra craze of 1980s with a qt foid that's not sure where she is, who she is, or what to do.
Experience: Honestly had to rewind once on some parts because it's a lot to take in and even after watching it I looked it up to understand some little components since it is so much shit to take in one sitting, just not used to these types. It has a careless overtone to it though in some areas which could make the movie shine a little more (especially after hauling all that info ffs). Tbh I wasn't the happiest with the ending, but some might be content.
Rating: 6/9 This is definitely a normie tier movie, it's likely not many people know about it but it's so accepted and seems to have a solid good spot online. Also the work put in for the graphics is great especially for a movie probably 1/5 people might see. Has a pretty solid plot which takes some work to understand but can be understood even by a normie. One of the better things though is it's not cucked to the bone like most movies with a foid as one of the main characters. And to top it all off, the foid is some nice eye candy
